Welcome to the first Tuesday Tutorial on the new blog. Lisa here. Unfortunately I am not feeling well today. Try as I might to fight it, I'm just a little under the weather. So I am going to keep this simple and share this fun idea that you can do yourself or with your children.

Today I will show you how to make these easy honeycomb pop ups.  I bet your children will love making them and coming up with creative ways to use them.  Here I used Publisher to make this Get well card.

I used the my new digi
Circles with this technique just make such cute balloons.   That's why I chose this digi to work with.   It's easy to print out and just pop your Honeycomb Pop Up balloons right on top.  (Just print a sample out first to see what size circle you will need).

I can see all kinds of projects using this digi and technique like tags, thank you's, happy birthday cards, party invites and even pictures to hang on the fridge.

Punch out 6 circles. I used the Stampin Up 1 1/4" circle punch.

Now fold each circle in half and score.

Now start by adhering two folded circles together with the fold on the right.

Add your third folded circle.

Add the fourth folded circle.

Add the fifth folded circle.

Add your sixth circle and now you are ready to adhere to your project just like this.  To mail it just press down flat and the center.

Print out the balloon(s) using the HELIUM HELLOS digital image and have your children make the balloons. Have fun creating. We'd love to see what you create with this idea. Just leave a link to your creation below or on our facebook page.
